Wouldn't surprise me at all either.

Can't believe they fought it out with Bryce Miller. Like you pointed out, he looked pretty impressive at times once he came back.
They are giving the two kids in the DR over $8M next January.
Have to give them credit there. They're spending even more than they did on Refsnyder!

Big expenditures compared to their usual nothing.
The are investing now just they can save more in the future. Just like they did with Evan White.

Imagine if JK had accepted Jerry's offer instead of gambling that he could get more later?

He'd probably still be wearing a Mariner uniform with his fans on X swearing that he's just about to finally break out.

I can see Evan White and his wife going out to dinner at AppleBees in a couple years and JK is their waiter. At the end of the meal JK brings the bill and White says,"Hey buddy, I actually have two tips for you, the first one is $50 for the great service and the second one is, in your next life take that deal the M's offer you!"

I can't imagine what Kelenic must be thinking about now.

He probably has nightmares about exactly that scenario. I almost feel for him. At the same time I love "he really kicked the bucket" jokes, so I'll get over it.

Yeah, that isn't good. I wonder if they'll trade him now.

That is the speculation especially if they lose. They find out tomorrow.
