This Bliss guy is kind of good. 3 hits today, 3 hits yesterday. For a smaller guy he makes good contact.

Can we keep him?
If u mean in the minors absolutely. Seriously they are not gonna a keep Polanco down there long. Feel so bad for Bliss. Playing so well and gonna get the bad news. Again maybe Lock. There is just no room for him unless u make Garver a backup catcher and no more Dh. He is not earning his money so let him not earn it a start a week.
It’s small sample size but Bliss has produced in that stretch, and he just isn’t up there hitting singles. You got many underperforming vets, both Mitches come to mind plus Palanco and others.

They have the DH spot to play with too. I’d keep playing Bliss until he stops hitting.

I agree. When Polanco comes back it's time to send Robles packing. No need to have seven guys who can play outfield...

Look before you leap with the M's Robles is .353 .421 .471 .892 OPS. He is in the same boat as Bliss. And Robles also has the speed side to his game. Robles sprint speed is 28 .1 FPS tied with guys like CF George Springer, and Randy A. Bliss and Robles should be with the team until they cool off. So many of their types of runs have been experienced that we should expect them to end, but you let them play out. The easiest way is to hold down Polanco until he is maxed out his rehab and he should be heated up and confident.

Right now Tyler Locklear is the next guy to go down. Robles has been worth 6.7 WAR despite only have an 82 OPS+ in 1600 PAs. IN 20 PAs with the M's he has a 162 OPS+ and 0.4 WAR. Right now Bliss and RObles and to a lesser extent T-Lock were our early trades for bats. It is the same as last year when Wong, and AJ went away and we had Ford come up as DH and eventually went to Moore, and then Rojas at 2B.
