The final data on flu season 2020 has been reported by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), even as the coronavirus continues to spread throughout major regions of the United States.
Between October 1, 2019 and April 4, 2020, there have been 39 million - 56 million flu illnesses, 410,000 - 740,000 hospitalizations, and 24,000 - 62,000 deaths from flu, of which 169 are pediatric, according to the CDC.

For COVID-19, that number ranges between 500 and 1,000 deaths per 100,000 infections. By his calculations, the coronavirus is likely to be 50 to 100 times more deadly than the seasonal flu, which supports the Columbia University findings.
No I am just wondering why 50 million get the flu and 2.8 million have gotten Covid. Also the median age of those who have supposedly died from Covid19 is near 80 and most of them had other chronic conditions that contributed to their deaths.
