Just like with the Mariner's, he is getting the benefit of the doubt. His name, his Minors stats, his hot streaks. We all just keep hoping the "real" Jared Kelenic will show up. Pretty sure we've all seen the "real". And it doesn't persist over a season.

He has an option still, too. Im sure theyd just demote him for a month. Verdugo and De la Cruz are nothing special. Kelenic will finish the yr as a regular contributor in LF for ATL. Verdugo will be gone
