rc's April Fool's GT ~ Gilbert's got the Tiger by the tale

Logan Gilbert pitched a masterful 1st game of the season. He didn't get the win but the Mariners did, beating the Athletics 4-2.

Pitching for 1-3 Detroit should be 27 y.o. RHP Casey Mize in his first 2025 appearance. He had a brilliant spring, pitching in 6 games, starting 4. Posted a 1.89 ERA, 25 K's in 19 innings. In 2024 Mize started 20 of his 22 games, 4.29 ERA, 78 K's in 102 innings, yielded 11 HR's.
6:40 1st pitch again.
At home, I do not do April Fool's pranks on my wife, because April 1st is her birthday. That's probably why we're still married and I'm still alive

Muruhnurs gonna win this one, 7-2.

Erasmo Ramirez and his wife is on the Today show. She was the Rays mascot back in the day which is how they met.

They had to hide their relationship for over a year because player mascot relationships were banned. lol Can't make it up.

I was wondering how many guys have been the Mariner Moose. Apparently eight to date, including fill-ins.
I think we need to start having the Moose drive his ATV past the opposing dugout during important series, see if maybe he can "accidentally" steamroll someone like he did Coco Crisp.

She was a cheerleader reject, she got a job as a runner in the seventh inning races, she was a big bottle of Pepsi. Relationships aren't banned but they are frowned upon. I can understand they want to try and keep the fraternization to a minimum
