We've been treated to the most unusual season so far. A combination of 1970s Big Red Machine and '62 Mets all rolled into one. We've seen some of the most unbelievably bad defense..ever.
At least for me to watch and I used to have to watch Dave Kingman and Jimmy Ray Hart try to play 3B and Willie McCovey try to play LF. In fact , Willie Mac might have been better than Domingo Santana..[but absence makes the heart grow fonder and it's been more than 50 years since I watched McCovey patrolling LF].
Omar Narvaez' non-tag on a beautiful throw from the OF was the first I ever saw that and I've watched a lot of Little League in my time.
Now WHO is the NEW GUY profilin' and stylin' with the Pimp Googles and who TF does he think he is trying to catch a pop fly with his glove closed...?
It has been great to see our Rookie Super Sub Dylan Moore show signs that he is a legit prospect.
I'd love to see this bunch handed over to Lou Piniella just to test Auburn Terry's theory that Servais is to blame for what we have.
Bottom line, they have been so awful lately that THERE IS SOME ENTERTAINMENT VALUE in that, if you have the right attitude as a LOYAL FAN.......

Confirming (at least in part) my theory that the AL sucks this year, 9 of the bottom 12 in this week's ESPN Power rankings are Junior Circuit clubs. The good news? Mariners are leading that pack at #19. Only have to pass two to be in the WC conversation. May as well start tonight.
