Colton Gordon to Make Another Start on Sunday

Houston Astros manager Joe Espada said that left-handed pitching prospect Colton Gordon will make another start on Sunday against the division-rival Seattle Mariners in place of the injured Ronel Blanco (elbow). Gordon, the team's No. 14 prospect per MLB Pipeline, could see extended run in Houston's starting rotation with Blanco likely facing an extended absence. The 26-year-old southpaw was recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land on Thursday and will be making his third big-league start after allowing six earned runs on 12 hits (two home runs) while walking two and striking out 10 in 9 2/3 innings in his first two starts against the Kansas City Royals and Tampa Bay Rays. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder doesn't throw hard but has produced high spin rates. No it shouldn't. Astros have a weak offense and serving up a bum rookie. Just work counts, get on base and come through with a couple big dingers and one clutch 2-run 2b. Should win 7-2 tbh

Garver is a good hitter. He needs more PAs. Polanco should be playing 2b until Cole Young comes up, then 3b. While Garver gets more DH starts. Solano, yes, he's dog shit and shouldn't even be on this team let alone hitting 6th
