Parker and Logan Evans starting

I heard on the radio this morning that the Mariners hit above league average in their first at-bats against starting pitchers, average in their 2nd at-bats, and well below average in their 3rd at-bats. Given that most teams hit better against a starting pitcher as the game progresses, can anyone explain why it's the reverse for the Ms?

3 straight lefty lineups have not looked good. Really have to get the offense going again. April can't be a fluke. One of the worst hitting teams in may!!

I wanted us to trade for Abrams a couple years ago. Bummer.

It's a baseball season. There are peaks and valleys and plains in there as well. Gotta just ride out the whole year and not live and die with each day
