More chaos in Yankee land...

...and are the Astros (29-11 in past 40 games) cheating again?

They're 2nd in baseball in pitcher WAR and 5th in player position WAR over that run.

That is despite having no Yordan Alvarez. Their best player, Pena, is out... and they've scored 41 runs over the 5 games since he's gone on the IL. They've developed multiple position players who weren't supposed to be much of anything... Jake Myers and Cam Smith are both on pace for 4.5 WAR seasons.

They are also 15-3 in 1-run games over those 40 games.

Quite frankly, they're just a far better franchise than the M's. They also have a really easy schedule to finish. I sincerely doubt the M's catch them.

Not really. The run this year of sockeye is far below average. These fish spend 4 years in the ocean before returning up the okanogen river to lake Ossouse in British Columbia and sadly 4 yrs ago the run was decimated by water to warm in the Columbia and the corp of engineers who run the dams didn’t respond to the hot weather fast enough and killed off this yr by not releasing enough cooler water behind grand coulee to cool it down. It will be back to great fishing next yr because they learned their lesson. We still catch them just not as fast as previous years.

Yeah, Mariner fans are expected to be all excited about a couple of prospects/rookies with OPS's in the .500s or low .600s. Meanwhile, Houston keeps churning out productive bat after productive bat from their farm system.

2 runs max for the M's. Better hope for another shutout.

Pirates, believe it or not, are a worse scoring team than the Marionettes.
They consistently give him poor run support.
Look at the simplest of evidence. A brilliant 2.03 ERA and a 4-7 record.
