If you don't like the homerun derby, because the weight of the world has crushed your spirit into a bitter chunk of coal, this thread isn't for you. Go complain somewhere else.
Go Cal!
I think switch hitting gives him an advantage, because he won't get gassed as easily.

These intros are great, like it's the Nathan's Famous hot dog eating championship.

Atlanta's stadium is pretty nice looking. I should see a game there someday.

I heard he was going to hit right. Wonder if he’ll do a little of both, and if it really would make him less tired

I'm liking the statcast broadcast on ESPN 2 a little better, though there's almost too much going on.
I don't think Wood will advance. I wouldn't want to go first.

I have ESPN+ but it's not letting me watch it. And I only subscribe to YoutubeTV during football season.
Such a bummer

The consistency of the pitcher is huge in this event. Rooker's guy starting getting a little wild toward the end of the main round.

I'm not buying these statcast distances. 450 plus that are only a few rows up.

Surprisingly good round by Caminero.
Here's Oneill Cruz. I think he'll be formidable.
