Wtf is wrong with this guy? Why can't he just take the next step and be more consistent?
Dude is the king of fall offs.
I was about to post something similar but I googled Rivas and his defense at SS seems very respected. I really don't know much about RivasDavidGee24 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 30, 2025 8:49 pmHe is still our best option at SS over the long haul, but we're in a pennant race and he's 4-28 over the last 8 games. And it's not like they're pitching him tough, he's missing cookies too. If Rivas was our utility player it would be good to stick JP on the bench for a game.
Right now he's got a .980 OPS and has hit 10 dingers at Tacoma, which is mind-boggling as I don't recall him ever even hitting one to the co-ed line with the big club.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Aug 30, 2025 8:56 pmI was about to post something similar but I googled Rivas and his defense at SS seems very respected. Yeah, But lately JP cant't get the fing ball out of the infield.
What stands out in those stat lines are J.P. Crawford's .344 BABIP for the first half and the .235 BABIP for the second half.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sat Aug 30, 2025 5:44 pm
