About time. Its been in cricket (sorry ) for years, the one thing you won't adopt in MLB is "umpire's call"

The baseball equivalent would be this kind of pitch where the ball is 50% or so across the strike zone line. If someone was to challenge this call - it should stand as whatever the umpire called it.

If it was a strike it stays a strike, if it was a ball it stays a ball and the challenge isn't lost.

If you dont employ something like this you effectively increase the strike zone by one ball's width all the way around.

The rule should be you get one challenge per PA. Why not? What's the harm? If the point is to get this thing right, well, let's get it right! Not limit it to 4 PAs per game.

no, they continue to get replaced so long as the challenge is correct. The strategy is going to be interesting actually.

I think its good enough, use them wisely. Seems to me the pitcher - catcher would have the advantage. It be more difficult for a hitter to make the decision, and no help from the dugout

When he had "control" he was impressive. Just kept the batter guessing all the time.
