#1 seed would take a miracle so let's such enjoy some stress free baseball and 3 bombs from Cal this weekend. 17 of 18. Epic Run for the ages!!

I believe Cal won’t catch a game this weekend and shouldn’t , Send graver and give Ford a couple of starts. Be a lot of subbing like last night. Want to give starters a couple of bats each game to keep fresh

I'd like to see one more from Geno as well to get him to 50. I know it doesn't count because Geno wasn't on the team all year but if they each hit 3 they would tie Mantle and Marris for Most Home Runs by two teammates in a season at 115. They are currently 1 back of second place which is Bonds and Rich Aurelia of all people at 110. Ruth and Gehrig had 107 for the 27 Yankees.

Don't we want them to compete for the #1 seed, or do we lose the tie-breakers to both TOR and NYY?

I think I posted in the Magic Number thread that there are only 2 pathways to #1

1) Win all three vs LA and hope that Tor & NY BOTH lose 2 of 3.
2) Win two v LA and hope that Tor & NY are BOTH swept.

So its a pretty unlikely route. Even if you put your eggs in chasing the #1 its so far out-of-our-hands and you need a lot of what-ifs. It's so unlikely, should you even play your best line-ups in the feint hope of a miracle?

Probably lots of subbing throughout, but still surprises me that Ford can't get a start:

It sucks the season Judge has had!!! Its gonna be neck and neck unless Cal has a monster home finale series. Judge continues to rake. Ugghhh this sucks.
