I don't care about normalcy, let's make Schneider's "bold" decision blow up in his face, we can beat an old man like Scherzer. It's there for the taking
"I think you get the best version out of Max," Schneider said of his bold decision. "He prepares. I've talked about him preparing all year. So I think keeping things normal for him [is good]. You want to see normalcy. You trust that he's going to be prepared and go out and give everything he has and hopefully rise to the occasion of a big moment."

Go Rocky. I think we are in safe hands. Thanks Terry for keeping the dream alive.
This game is the momentum swinger. 3-1 or 2-2 sets the tone for who goes to that World Series. Almost tempted to say whoever wins tonight will claim the Pennant.
Toronto are taking a punt on Scherzer. Form wise, we should get him out of there and win this easily. But Cy Young winners always have one potential last swansong in their arsenal.
Lets hope he doesnt.
This is MASSIVE
Go Rocky, hope you get some sequels.
Go Mariners

Watched several replays, Kirby stayed middle middle on almost every HR , give the credit for punishing the pitches but hopefully Castillo pitches better

He failed to locate, which is frustrating....mostly because I have to now listen to the same dipshit manager that said Cal isn't hard to get out if you execute, act as though his hitters had some genius gameplan. It was the same fucking gameplan that didn't work in the first two games, and wouldn't have worked against Kirby if George hadn't decided to live on the white part of the plate all night!

Once Kirby gets tagged, whether it's on a good pitch or not, he seems to lose focus and start grooving them. He's too damned emotional.

Mike James (the new guy on KJR) was ripping Wilson a new one earlier on his show for not taking Kirby out of the game after the 3rd inning with the score 5-2. Not sure i disagree as IMO there was very little reason to think he would be able to regain his form (or composure) based on his past history.

Might have missed this, but when is Woo scheduled to start? Or is he still day to day?
I agree with you - Kirby does not have the EQ yet. I'm sure the nerves were even more jittery given how big the stakes were.
