FA reliever market
FA reliever market
I have always said there is close zero chance Jerry ever spends significant money on a reliever but this really nails the massive gap between the Blue Jays and M's philosophies. BJ come one win from a WS title and go out and spend almost $250M on a submarine low K rate reliever and a barely above average starter. M's just trying to run it back and went 1/2 so far and added a project reliever and a BU catcher that can't hit.

Starting to feel like a repeat of the 2023-2024 Offseason.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 6:07 pmI have always said there is close zero chance Jerry ever spends significant money on a reliever but this really nails the massive gap between the Blue Jays and M's philosophies. Think about it, Toronto’s winning run in that 7th game had Already crossed home plate, but for the Catch of All Time by a backup named Pages!D-train wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 6:07 pmI have always said there is close zero chance Jerry ever spends significant money on a reliever but this really nails the massive gap between the Blue Jays and M's philosophies. Good thing the fans didn’t have their blood pressure checked when the ball was still in the air!
