I am fine not signing him if we actually get one more bat like Jerry promised but you guys really need to quit obsessing about Ks. There is almost zero correlation between Ks and run production. Ks are a byproduct of Power, a necessary evil. In order to cut down on Ks you sacrifice HRs which are MASSIVELY correlated to power. Take a look at the top 20 leaders in Ks. Look at all those homers!
Are you telling me you want Cal to cut down on his Ks and only hit 25 HRs??
Would you not want Schwarber or Ohtani or Matt Olson or Devers or Trout. Holy shit please stop with that nonsense.

Except the mariners indicated they were interested in bringing him back and a year at $15 MIL seems right in their wheelhouse
