Yeaaaaaah! I always listen to the first Spring Training game, always against the same damn Padres. I get it. I'll pay particularly close attention to the guys in the lineup trying to make the team. Headed to the golf range for a quick session but I should be back by 12:10. It will be a toasty 36 degrees.

Sometimes I think I am the only true baseball fan on this forum. How can you not watch the first game of ST when it is free.

Welcome to a new season guys. Arroyo what a swing gives us the lead and Emerson just misses it. His swing is ready great start. Making contact not striking out.

I hope they told the full speed type guys like Robles and Raley to take it easy in spring training and not dive into any nets.

They definitely have a deep lineup if these guys can stay healthy.

Impressive swing by Arroyo on an 0-2 pitch against a lefty. I will be watching him closely in the minors this season. We need a right hand 3rd baseman. with a good swing coming up. Emerson almost went yard loeft on left also. Good signs...

I bet the joker that left Arroyo off of his top 100 prospects list feels pretty dumb. He has a 5.000 OPS.

Yea Emeson sweet swing against a Lefty. Just missed it great to see. Criswell with a fantastic debut striking out 2 potent hitters.

Get another run. If Emerson and Young take off if Emerson makes the team i would bench Arozarena against righties and have Donavan out there. Just dont see where u fit Donavan if Emerson makes the team. Maybe dh or rf?

Pitchers get ramped up quicker the hitters but wow Criswell with 2 very good innings 3 strikeouts. Fantastic work
