Hey welcome back brother! I hope you enjoyed your hiatus!

As a leader of men, I would give Dan an A-.

As an in game manager C+

Curious what other think.

I just like watching the game and have not the expertise (like so many on this board) to rate the positions. But I can honestly say that Dan is a below average chief, but that may be because he is [basically] new to the managerial ranks in the big leagues. Will he improve over time, I would like to hope so.

As for your other grades, I don't think 2nd base is graded very fairly.

Regarding your comment on the 'state of these boards' (on a separate thread), the common issue revolves around SoB and PB&J. Both are the exact same person, but on the opposite side of reality...... neither would be missed.

Yeah Dan made and epic blunder by going with Bazardo vs. Munoz in Game 7 and a damn good chance it cost us our 1st WS which is a massive black mark. I am hopeful he will improve over time. Best thing about him is that he a good human and seems very open minded and will likely learn and grow.

Yes, now that Cole is on fire I feel a lot better about 2B and I admit I was scarred by his Kelenesque 3-51 slump to the end the season. I would bump that up to a C right now.

I have made a personal decision to boycott the Politics forum. It used to be a decent place for discussion but now it is a complete cesspool and head butting contest where people seem to take some sort of satisfaction or twisted "pleasure" in thinking of new and creative ways to insult each other. It is fucking disgusting and a exhibition of the worst humanity has to offer...What exactly is the point in communicating with people you have negative infinity chance of EVER convincing to even CONSIDER making an effort to see your position on the world. The fact that it is grown men vs. Jr high kids makes it even more pathetic.
