I didn't realize Torrens had become so well regarded defensively. I remember the word on him here being that he was barely playable at catcher, but they liked his potential with the bat. Good on him for continuing to work on his game.

Calling up Pereda with Cal hurt yikes. Means it must be a multiple game injury or just an extra c for tonight. This really sucks.
