Go Chadwick. Go M's. I really hope Hancock keeps pitching lights out to force their hand with Castillo when Miller is ready. I saw Hollander said he might even be ready 5 days after his next start on Wednesday.

In former Mariner news, the Mets have given Luis Torrens an extension through 2028.

Here's the article: https://www.mlb.com/news/luis-torrens-2 ... -from-mets

I didn't realize Torrens had become so well regarded defensively. I remember the word on him here being that he was barely playable at catcher, but they liked his potential with the bat. Good on him for continuing to work on his game.

Imagine the M's giving a BU catcher $11.5M Well I guess they gave Garver $24M lol

Apparently Will Wilson to the IL with a thumb fracture and they are bringing up Jhonny Pereda (C) from Tacoma.

Also to replace Brash is Davila from Arkansas if you missed it.

Calling up Pereda with Cal hurt yikes. Means it must be a multiple game injury or just an extra c for tonight. This really sucks. Stuck with Garver and Rivas is the only guy on the roster now that can play 3rd.
