Mariners back to having the third-worst batting average in baseball. Even if this improves, what's the team's ceiling, seventh- or eighth-worst? And we've got three starting pitchers right now putting up substandard numbers.

One baseball heresy that I hold to is that batting average does actually matter.

As it should be. Getting on base is great, hitting for power is great, but you also have to, you know, HIT.

The M’s will win this division in a cakewalk, the rest of the division either sucks or is injured.

If they were in the east, they’d be over eight games out.

Woo needs a better start today. Dont wanna see his era go over 5. Really needs to find s groove and so does the offense. We have a shot at series win let's get it!!
