The Mariners are acquiring outfielder Taylor Ward from the Orioles, reports Jeff Passan of ESPN. Baltimore’s return in the deal has not yet been reported.

It happens earlier over here

Ward has half as many HRs as Cole Young. .839 OPS vs. lefties.

Kreiling has pitched 10 innings this season pitching in the ACL and low A ....as a 24 yo. lol Hoppe sucks ass and Moore has a 5.56 ERA and 1.5 WHIP in AA.

Have to hand it to Jerry for never over paying but the fact that this was the best the Os could get for Ward tells you what the league thinks of him..

Yeah, looks like a pure salary dump for the Oriholes.

Ward having just the weirdest season. His power has disappeared to where he hit 36 home runs last year but only seven so far this year, yet he's on pace to draw about 125 walks. How the hell is that even possible?

I don't know how much he's going to move the needle, but at least he replaces Robles and Ref should be DFA'd.

If we pull off a trade for Mason Miller I'll feel a lot better. Can't see it happening, unfortunately, and I'm guessing that DiPoto thinks he solved everything with Sarasmile Dominguez.

Just read where in 30 career games at T-Mobile he has an OPS of .533, so I guess we'll have to hope he hits in road games and doesn't pull a Garver/Solano where he can only hit at Wrigley.
