9.2.2026 GT: I Have 2 Feet, I Need 2 Socks

Okay, so maybe I was a bit harsh yesterday… maybe? Even so, a series win is still better than a loss.

Alas, Bryce Miller makes his second start at Fenway. Here’s to hoping this start goes better than his last (4 ER on 5 hits and 4 walks in 4.2 innings). After starting well, Miller has had a rough go with a 7.18 ERA over his last seven starts.

On the other side, it’s a lefty pitcher with Sandoval. He was roughed up by the Pirates, but his last two have been quality starts. Sandoval, when he was with the Angels, had 9 starts vs the Mariners and is 0-5 with a 3.75 ERA. Be real nice to keep that 0 on his record.

Lineup to follow.

Where there is life there is hope but if we play this out ten times we will make it to the playoffs once. Thats the grim reality, and also how maths works

Thanks for the tip on the over last night baller. Most obvious doubling of money deal in the history of betting.

Why is NYY above TB in that table?

Julio 8-60 (.133) plus all the bonehead mistakes since the Asstro series. And Mariner management isn't going to do anything about it.

Cal 12-39 (.308) with seven home runs since the Screwer series. Even when he makes outs his ABs have looked a lot better and hopefully this continues through September if only to show that he can still do it.

Is Donovan back yet? Even though Rodden had a nice game yesterday, the sooner we get him out of the lineup and Donovan in the better.

Nice pitching matchup today, Miller who has completely fallen apart versus Sandoval who sucks. Could be another slugfest.

I’m glad you could take advantage of it AND that it worked out!

How do you not play Montes after what he did yesterday? And no Cal, but at least they're batting Julio 3rd in the order.
