That's great although i was put off by him delaying the announcement to such a late date. What did he learn recently about the schools on his list that he didn't already know months ago? I mean, if he wanted to avoid the spotlight why not make the decision as early as possible?
Anyway, i hope he will be hitting the weight room hard, because that WNBA body isn't going to hold up against the other big boys in college hoops. I was kind of surprised that his wingspan is so much smaller than Durant's also, although i think it has more to do with how narrow his shoulders are as opposed to having short arms.
This should be a great positive for Husky basketball and perhaps help out in securing more (local) elite recruits in the coming years and maybe even establishing UW as a destination on a national level.
