It happened when he was hustling down the line on a ground ball. Very common to have such and injury when you use muscles that you almost never use.

This is what happens when running out a groundball becomes optional. If he's doing it daily it's not some big shock to his body, see: every other player.

More on ex Ms injuries. Pax has now been on the 10 day IL for the knee boo boo almost three weeks. 
Good news though, sim game tomorrow and then rehab assignment so might get back by D day.
