This guy nailed who I would have voted for. Would love to see your guy's ballots.

I would start with Jeter, Schilling, Sheffield, and carefully consider any others. Walker, Vizquel, perhaps.

Chone Figgins gets my vote for this forum’s “Hall of Flame”.

For those that think Bonds should be in the HOF because so many guys used PEDs. It goes way beyond PEDs with him. Truly a POS human.

:) A lot of people think Vizquel shouldn't get in because of his bat but I project he will get in around 2023-24 and I don't have any problem with the best defensive SS of that generation getting in.

ohhh I think you are trying to sell books...
I am not writing this column to sell books. I'm writing it to tell Barry Bonds -- to beg Barry Bonds -- to finally do something selfless and righteous:

Doesn't make Bonds any less of a POS.

Whatever. This thread is about who should be in the HOF.

That’s my reasoning. He compares favorably with Ozzie and Aparicio. They kind of set a standard for ‘small bat/big glove’ infielders, and although that is of itself a rarified group, he’s right up there with them.

Somebody brought this up months before and I submitted my responses, been looking for the original post to no avail.

Jeter and Sheffield, definitely. Walker a no, the Coors effect.

Schilling because of his great playoff record.
