Severino out with TJ surgery. That God they have Paxton. He can take two spot in the rotation no problem......once he returns in August.

I would take Gamel in CF over Mallex any day of the week.

Dipoto has a distorted vision of what's important from a CF and Relief Pitching in my opinion.

It's like he's been told that speed and "defense" is all that matters from a CF. These days it has to come along with OPS or the opportunity cost is too large. There are too many better bats that can play adequate defense that makes the speed more or less useless unless it can be deployed strategically from the bench in situations where a stolen base could alter the outcome of the game. Not just any old random stolen base when you're up or down by 4 runs.

His infatuation with bad lefty relievers is a little baffling.

The sick thing was that Mallex put in one of the worst CFs defensively that I have ever seen last year. He was so horrible early that when he improved to below average it was a massive positive change. :x

That's rough, Severino is an immensely talented pitcher who's just getting derailed by injuries. Worse, he's just getting to the point where he can now get paid.

I see after missing that scoop, they switched White and Vogey between DH and 1B.

What difference a day makes makes. Stellar pitching and White and JK combine to give us a 1-0 lead. 2 hits for White. Told you guys that was a great contract! :)
