How ugly will it get today?

German Marquez continues to pitch like an ace in leading the Colorado Rockies.
German already owns Colorado’s all-time best winning percentage among qualified pitchers.
He’s the bona fide staff ace after throwing opening day.
And the starts just keep getting better.

That's what most of the headlines say about the Corolado Boulders righthander these days.

Kemp batting fourth for the Crockies. Interesting thing about him is that over the last six years, even with offensive stats that look nice, he's put up a grand total of 1.7 bWAR, meaning that over that time his overall contribution has cost his teams about nine games in the standings, and it would be a lot worse if he didn't miss so many games with injuries.

He didn't start it until only about two hours before game time and lineups are out about 3-4 hours before game time so anyone had plenty of time to start it prior if so motivated.

Nice photo you posted of Vogelbach taking a bath before the game...Can we just release him and bring up Jake Fraley to get a little experience? At least Fraley can run and play a little outfield...
