Strange how he "picked it up" right after an event where he was in close contact with political rivals and their operatives. Just a little observation.

What a shock to wake up to this. Although last night I saw that Hope Hicks had tested positive. Busy year to say the least. 25% ahead of us.
I think it was 10 days ago the President said "it affects almost nobody." I guess that is true until it does. But I can't help but thinking about the White House's "anti-mask culture" as my friend who works there calls it. If people had been masking up and slowing down the spread of the virus, where would we be now? Obviously, people who believe that masks help in protecting other people feel that we would have fewer cases. Do other people seriously doubt that?
Prayers for the President and the First Lady.

Sounds like another quote taken out of context. If he did say that he undoubtedly was referring to the mortality rate which is significantly lower than the msm has told us all along and that the vast majority of people who get it don't get seriously ill.

As Dr. Fauci himself said before his handlers "re-educated" him, masks are not effective in combatting the spread of viruses. There are numerous pre-Covid studies that back this up. I believe he said it does have some value as a placebo though for the fearful masses.
By the way, who is this friend of yours that works in the proximity of the President and speaks so freely about what he observes? You must be pretty important for a White House insider to share that with you.

It hardly affects anybody, as in most people dont know they even have it unless they're tested, including Hicks and the Trumps.
Including all the baseball players that tested positive and were pissed they couldn't play because they weren't even sick.
All this will do is give Trump some street cred when he comes through unscathed.
When is Boris Johnsons funeral? Oh, that's right, he's fine too.

Could be a blessing in disguise for Trump.

I agree, when he comes out and says he never showed symptoms he can just say, You know what, that wasn't so bad, time to open up and get back to work.
Lib heads would explode.

It might be beyond some people's view of the world, but despite the fact that I will not vote for Trump, I do hope he doesn't get seriously ill. It's not political. It's just caring for other people. Don't you care for other people?
Someone brought up Boris Johnson. I believe he's 55 years old. I think he was in intensive care for a month.

55 going on 80 maybe. Dude looks like he chainsmokes and spends weekends with Nick Nolte.
You're in the minority of libs if you're wishing Trump a recovery.

Your post blaming Trump for getting the virus seemed a thinly veiled attempt at saying he deserved to get it. You were basically gloating in a passive aggressive way. And no, i don't believe you care about the Trumps. On the other hand, i think you are decent and rational enough not to wish suffering or death upon him like the majority of people who vote D in this country so i'll leave it at that.
I would add, i don't expext anybody who doesn't know or approve of Donald Trump to care about him. I don't believe that is in human nature nor is it logical. We should all care about society and the human condition because that has an impact on both ourselves and those we love.
