I live about 1/2 mile from 405 and only a mile from DT Kirkland and I have seen coyote's, rabbits, and deer in my neighborhood. I didn't see a single one of these growing up in Lynnwood in the 70s and 80s.

We get three stray cats, raccoons, skunks, and opossums that come into our back yard. We were feeding the cats and then everyone else showed up. One of the raccoons eats right out of our hands which surprised the hell out of me, I'd always been scared of those little bastards.

Growing up in Shoreline from the mid 70's to the early 90's, and right on the edge of an undeveloped park (Hamlin), i also don't recall ever seeing Coyotes, rabbits, or deer. And very rarely did i see a crow. It was all squirrels and small birds, and some racoons that stayed up in the big trees on and around our property.
Now, i encounter crows everywhere and way more rabbits than i used to see. Seems odd.

Another side effect of global warming which will soon lead to the critters running for office and eventually taking over our society within 12 years.

That sounds preferable to the weasels, chameleons, and vultures that currently run things.
