I just placed a win bet on Roadster, who is a ten-to-one overlay right now, even though he's a much better horse than that. My mint julep is on order at a local watering hole for 3:40 pm. I intend to pay for it with my winnings. With enough left over to buy the Mariners.

Okay, I am going to parade my total lack of horse racing knowledge once around the track here. Sure, I looked at the CBS Derby Cheat Sheet, so I have 'data' to go by. My picks for the Derby are:

Improbable to Place
Tax to Show.

Okay, I suck, but I already knew that.

I am watching the "objection", and it is clear that Maximum Security impeded some other horses by moving outwards, still, the commentators do not think that it impacted the order of finish, so it probably shouldn't change anything.
I say just rerun the race.
Seriously, it is interesting though.
