Stop this insanity! Stop the skid! Stop the inskidity. Since there are no words left to describe the rollercoaster ride into the dark downward spiral of morass I have to come up with new, "reimagined" words to say about this Mariner's season thus far going to today's game with the Cleveland Indians.

Inskidity is your new word for the day.

Cleveland swept the M's at the Magenta. Time to return the favor and stop the inskidity.

Friday, May, 3 - 4:10pm

Mariners ~ Yusei Kikuchi (L)
Indians - Shane Bieber (R)

1. Dee Gordon (L) 2B.....................back to leadoff - don't jerk us around. Get on base, steal the next
2. Mitch Haniger (R) CF..................is he a leadoff hitter, the team's best hitter so a #3 batter, or the 2-hole man?
3. Daniel Vogelbach (L) DH...............I'd swear he's hit everywhere except lead off in 2019
4. Edwin Encarnacion (R) 1B
5. Domingo Santana (R) LF
6. Jay Bruce (L) RF
7. Omar Narvaez (L) C
8. Tim Beckham (R) SS...................Timmy has hit almost everywhere but he's been clean-up some lately, now 8th?
9. Ryon Healy (R) 3B......................9-hole baby. Last! This is face slap reminder that Seager is almost upon us again

1. Francisco Lindor (S) SS
2. Leonys Martin (L) CF
3. Jose Ramirez (S) 3B
4. Carlos Santana (S) 1B
5. Jordan Luplow (R) RF
6. Carlos Gonzalez (L) LF
7. Jason Kipnis (L) 2B
8. Kevin Plawecki (R) C
9. Jake Bauers (L) DH

Gametime Temp: 49°F
Chance of Precip: 3%

I wouldn't have Dee at the top but that's the right player mix that should be in 90% of games now.

Cleveland has been good to us in recent years, and the Indians are missing quite a few players. Given that, we shouldn't lose any of these games by more than ten runs.

Jordan Luplow is the grand nephew of former Tribe and Met outfielder Al Luplow, the author of the very first Jay Buhner-type catch at Fenway.

I thought that would be of interest. Maybe not. At any rate, I’d love to get this synthesized pattern recognition voice to do my obituary.

:D I wondered who'd be the first to make a comment about Servais. You win the vomit-green Servais Kewpie doll, Terry!

Its bizarre how many batters look lost at the plate right now. Santana was squaring everything up and now he's just getting on top of everything and grounding out.

Double no-hitters being thrown tonight folks but both pitchers ruined their perfect game chances by walking a batter.
