OT: Tiger Woods in bad car crash

They are saying he has multiple leg injuries and is in surgery right now. Apparently a one-car rollover and he was drving as the sole occupant of an SUV near Palos Verdes.

Crash site looks bad. There is a video that shows how far his car traveled - went across a lane of traffic and rolled up a hill. No bueno. Happened at 7:12am.

Boulder in the road? Coyote? Or, as Juliooooo says, could be the meds or any sort of scenario. Fall asleep and hit the gas or brakes, wake and in confusion drive up the hillside?

It appears the accident occurred directly in front of what are no-doubt high-end homes. I'd be surprised if there were not some video footage from someone's security cameras nearby. Maybe not of the accident itself, but at least they might be able to ascertain speed...etc.

I know the area, it's Rancho Palos Verdes, just SW of Los Angeles. Hilly high-end area near the ocean. Not particularly crowded and Woods probably wrecked himself.

makes you wonder if he had a stroke or something unfortunate like that - seems a long ways to go to if he was just texting or something stupid like that.
