Flexen has kept us in the game the majority of his starts. Marco started us off in a hole, but it wasn't an insurmountable one and he ended up pitching a fine game.

Flexen will show what he can do in the home park where he has pitched to a 1.99 ERA this season compared to a 6.97 ERA in road games.

Dipoto also said they will go with a 5-man rotation coming out of the All Star break and don’t need to go back to a 6-man rotation. The purpose of that was to manage innings and they’ve done that.

Dipoto spoke with the media today and said that we should have an update on Evan White in the next couple of days. It sounds unlikely that we will see him return this season.

Yeah, he's been wearing himself out swinging at those low and outside pitches. He needed a rest. And they can't take him out of the lineup for an injury. He's not a pitcher!
