Rays vs BoSox

Rays got screwed last night. By MLB rules, you can pick up and throw a ball out of play and it’s a ground rule double. I imagine this rule gets changed this offseason

It was quirky but unintentional. Obviously if he had picked it up and threw it in the stands there would have been a different outcome. The rule should be a judgement call based on the position of the runners when it went over the fence though.

Reminded me of the famous Raiders forward fumble that won them the playoff game back in the 70s. They changed the rule due to that Fumblerooski.

Looks like the Red Sox are going to move on and the better team will go home. Maybe we'll get an exciting Boston - Atlanta world series.

I wonder if all the strutting and chest-thumping by Arozarena in game one helped motivate the Red Sox. Total fail by the best team in the AL. Now either Boston or Houston will be in the WS [vomit].

Watching the Giants/Dodgers game. Both teams look head and shoulders better than the M's. So I have to think, why would Scherzer or Bryant want to leave the Dodgers or Giants respectively to come here?
