In Memoriam Seattle Times Mariners Forum

Post by Happy as hell » Thu Jul 25, 2019 12:32 am

I am saddened to report that the Seattle Times Mariners Forum passed away last night at age 15 years (?). The cause was metastatic spam. In lieu of flowers, the Seattle Times would like you to subscribe.

On a personal note, I was a member from 2006 and enjoyed many happy years with the deceased. My favorite memory was when the forum united in a campaign to fire Bill “buttpastry” Bavasi. I believe Michael K started a website, but perhaps it was someone else. Memory fades. I also enjoyed long arguments between Billy Heywood and practically everyone on the forum, but especially ICE I believe. And I greatly miss Halfmoon.

This thread is started for everyone, especially old timers, to share their memories.

I didn't really spend much time there so I don't remember much about it. ;)

Man, I will have to think about it before I post. Could be my longest post ever. lol

 Pipecock Jackson is still here. Maybe you knew that. Damn I should have copied and pasted the list of top 100 posters before it went down.
