We pretty much already knew this. Surprised we didn't protect Carlson.

Tomorrow's the deadline but guessing they would have added everybody at the same time so likely no Carlson. Damn, I should have bet Jay! :)

He is never mentioned as a trade chip but he raked after a slow start in May. Arod 2.0

If they bring in another outfielder, Julio probably starts the season in the minors. I would imagine they’d like to get him more experience in center and perhaps have him debut in June or July. But if the rules regarding service time change and he absolutely rakes through good process in spring…

The surprise here of course is Alberto. He barely played for High-A Everett, yet they felt he needed to be protected. He was overshadowed last year by Julio and his buddy Noelvi, but he absolutely tore it up. Fielders with so little experience rarely get selected, but Seattle must be high on him because they weren’t taking any chances.

ARod had a better year than Marte but is 1 year older.

Payroll sits at roughly 1-year of Justin Verlander. :o

Sitting at 39 on the 40 man roster.

Time for some interesting moves.

No one has signed a contract totalling over $80 million yet. I doubt that Semien will be the first to sign unless it is a blockbuster contract.

I could see Gausman signing.
