He turns 22 in a few months and played 76 games in AAA in 2021 so he is about year ahead of JRod in terms of Age and experience. If they decide he is a 2B then he would be perfect to take over for Frazier in 2023 but I don't see any reason why he can't be given a shot to battle it out for 3B in 2022 as long as we sign an experienced bat for the OF. I would FAR prefer him to Chapman for example.
Totally agree. There is a very slim field of 3B free agents in 2023. As I understand it, he's played mostly 3B but they have had him play a lot at 2B. Defensively he's got a lot of growing to do, but his offensive potential more than makes up for it.
What a novel concept...Actually have your best prospects play a season in AAA or more......Who does that
Yeah that Crazy Cardinal Org. what do they know. btw here is JKs games by level after we traded for him and prior to his initial call up last May:

Low A: 50
High A: 46
AFL: 3
AA: 21
AAA: 6

So he played a Grand total of 30 games above A ball before they put him in the leadoff spot vs. Major league pitchers in the height of the Spider tack Era. 30 fucking games.

There's a reason St. Louis has produced more WS series championships than anyone but the Yankees.

It sounds like they are doing the same thing to JRod

Here is JRod so far:

Low A: 67
High A: 45
AFL: 15
AA: 46
AAA: 0

So 61 over A and 0 at AAA if he is on the OD roster this season.

This is what the Mariners do with position prospects.

Yeah and then they have the Pitching prospects throw 3 innings a start about 10 stars a season....

They have won the second most championships because their franchise has been around for 140 years and they were good in the 30's and 40's when there were only 16 teams. They are certainly an above average franchise that makes the Playoffs a ton but they tend to choke once they get there. They have won just 2 World Series in the last 40 years. Same number as Kansas City, Minnesota, Toronto, and Miami. The Cardinals current Management group hasn't won any.
