True story. I saw a couple friends at a church function last night. Crazy Yankee fans. All they ever talk about.
They were so quiet when I mentioned the Yankees. I said the same thing. Well at least they had a great start and still
lead the division by what? 9 games. They both looked like they were going to cry. Spoiled spoiled spoiled.
I said maybe the Mariners will play the Yanks for the American League Championship.
They didn't even respond because they know we can beat them straight up in a series with good pitching.

As long as 92 gets us in I'll be happy.
Alot of teams on our tails.
Good thing the east is beating each other up according to plan.

I worry about offense but I like this group.
Great pitching and good defense.
They are playing more fundamental baseball.
Small ball to win games.
That's just my style with a splash of power.
Like the old KC teams.
We have good depth too. When rosters expand...I imagine guys like Trammell and Toro will be valuable late in close games.

Seems like 90 at least, doesn't it? I honestly think the cut line might start at DT. Hard to believe they would have to play 13 games over .500 for DT to win, and I think they will win more. Me, WTF is going on here?
