I agree that it was started too early but it's probably silly and too late to redo the whole thing now. I will start it next year once the final roster is known a few days before the season starts

What, you didn't learn from last year when you were about 20 wins too optimistic?

This team is a Robby Ray season-ending injury away from .500ville.

I was definitely off on WAR but I was only three wins off on actual wins so hey maybe it works

I have to stay optimistic after they pulled through last year on heart alone (no help from the GM adding talent to help a playoff team).

On paper Ray over Kuchi may be only 3 wins. But in reality, it's probably worth at least 7 based on the performance we actually got from Kikuchi in my opinion.

Bullpen looks deep and solid. The relievers for an inning rule makes lefty specialists less desirable because teams will do what Servais has been doing and stacking two power RH bats behind the lefty.

Lineup looks unremarkable, but deep with a high floor.

Rotation is the biggest question mark imo. Ray and Brash are going to be fun to watch.

Marco is Marco like Jason Vargas was Jason Vargas.
Logan Gilbert could be an ace or a Neftali Feliz.
Chris Flexen was a sell-high candidate imo. Risky going forward, but only need to count on him as a 4.

Overall it's a much better team than last year when the bullpen and timely hitting saved the day.

93-98 looks like a good season, I'll stick with the 98 from the contest. Other teams being much improved also is our biggest roadblock. Have to beat up on the bad teams this year.

I'm in for 90.

Since this started in another thread, thought I'd make it more obvious for this to see. Feel free to edit this post and thread title if needed DT.

Sexy, I don't know what to say, 91 had been taken and I was going to bump you to 92, but Bronx took it, then 93, but DT took that. I'll put you in for 88, but you can change that if you want to any number that is open.

Looks like the Median number is up about 6 wins from last season so far.
.571 winning % on pace for.....wait for it.......93 wins! lol

I think they may get to 95+ if healthy. Crawford may be an All star this year. France is France from last year without the 4 week slump from injury I hope. Suarez is showing signs of life, and Frazier is just a solid, steady ball player.

I think Winker has played well, but had bad luck. A few of his long outs will be HR later in the year, and he's had a half dozen hard hour balls that have just been in the wrong place or had amazing defensive plays. His numbers certainly aren't indicative of how he's played.

Julio and Kelenic should improve as well. I think mostly though, I expected regression from the bullpen and so far out doesn't look like it will happen.
