Looking at both Everett's and Arks lineups there is a grand total of 1 guy with at least a .800 OPS. Bob Perez Jr. who has 29 ABs at Everett since his promotions. Freaking ghost town. Stanton better be ready to get a crow bar and crack open the bank account because the only viable Major league hitter I see coming from the farm in the next two years is Trammell.

This is hilarious. White hits a Home run and people are trying to figure out where he can play. Some suggest Corner OFer. LMAO. Stanton would love that idea FAR more than signing Judge.

Idk, I think he still has hope for 1B. Ty France has been nothing special since June. Here are his numbers by month:
APR 21 gm 96PA .337/.411/.554 5 HR 21 RBI 184ops+
MAY 28 gm 124PA .355/.427/.473 2 HR 15 RBI 155ops+
JUN 21 gm 91PA .244/.319/.402 3 HR 9 RBI 100ops+
JUL 17 gm 77PA .275/.338/.478 3 HR 7 RBI 128ops+
AUG 8 gm 35PA .147/.171/.235 1 HR 5 RBI 13ops+

France has greatness in him as we saw thru the first 50 games, but 50 games don't make season let alone a career. He needs to continue to be productive or I'd rather have the bigger 1B target. Evan White just needs to get his bat right.

At the very least he's going to be a high leverage reliever. Very Matt Brash like situation. Could very well be a top 100 prospect at some point.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

France has been bad for 35 PAs and still has a .818 OPS. White was bad for 306 and has a .544 OPS. "Just" getting his bat right seems to be easier said than done based on the JK experience.

France just needs to get fully healthy.

Arkansas actually had a combined no-hitter last night. Cool experience some of those guys can tell their kids and grandkids about someday.

How does Kelenic head to AAA and immediately have like 5 hits in 2 games?

It's all mental for the kid. There's just no way the pitching he's facing in AAA is that much different.

Yes and no. There's quite a lot of 95+ in AAA, even among these journeyman 30 year old pitchers, and there seems to be a pretty good variety of pitches. The difference I think is mainly in command. There are more guys in AAA that throw the ball all over the place and you see that where statcast plots pitch locations.

Another difference to take note of is that the PCL apparently is using the automated strike zone, aka robot umps, so the zone is presumably consistent from game to game in a way that that is not the case in MLB. I don't know if that's a factor for JK or not, but maybe something to consider.
