Clase who is the fastest guy in the system has been on fire in June for Modesto. Just turned 20 yo in May.

...but he's a midget.

Changing over to Marte. Last night's boxscore shows Noelvi as having the 7th best OPS in the Everett lineup.

And ARod is 9th just 12 points lower.
Arod is heating up a bit though. .306/.404/.435/.839 since may 21, roughly 1 month.

A lot of hitters in the system are. The axiom that the hitters warm up with the weather is proving true. I guess it is still cold in Seattle unless you are Trout.

Plus many of them are advancing a level and trying to figure it out. Not all will figure it out as Quickly as Arroyo who was .174 his first 11 games, then .344 since then.

Yeah they are always advancing. Happens every year. You have to have a pretty bad year to not get promoted. Though Perez had a pretty good year and didn't advance so it does happen I guess.

Dervy Ventura. 18 y.o. 2Bman. Switch hitter.

Hope he keeps this up his entire Mariner career (move over, Adam Frazier).

Kelenic in Tacoma 99AB, 29 hits and and 7 walks with 34 SO, he is striking out as many times as he gets on base. Really need to work on his contact skills some more while he is there. Taking the walks out he is at 62% contact which would seem ok but the 33% rate is way to high or consider him one of the 3 outcome player without the power lol

Yeah the fact they went with Upton over him speaks volumes...

Yeah, like how they realized how rushed he was and how he needs more time in the minors. Take out his first week and he at 25 % K rate. Not a big deal if he keeps that up

Still a touch high for AAA. The gold standard is JRam. Check his HRs vs. Ks.
