Logan Gilbert. What to say about Logan?

He finished 2021 hot.
And really ERA by month
May 5.94
June 2.79
July 3.76
Aug 9.13
Sep/Oct 2.7 ERA

APril 2022 0.54 ERA 3starts

Over his last 9 starts 50 innings between the start of this season and the end of the last one Logan has given up a 1.98 ERA.

Our starters are looking really promising Gilbert (SSS) The number look really up 4 out of the last 5 months of reporting he is putting up Ace numbers and in the 4 good months his W/L 8-0 in that bad August 0-3.

Ray

Brash is brash and his stuff is nasty.

Marco has been a plus crafty left-hander and that plays well in Safeco

And Flexen if Flexen fails you get Kirby

The BP is lights out ansd we are pitching to a 132 ERA+ and a 113 ERA+ after 12 games 7 raod 5 home.

The WAR projections for Logan seemed low, given that he will likely pitch at least 20% more innings this year.

Yeah FG had him at 1.9. Nuts. I had him at 3.5 which is still probably too low.

Hey, we only have one negative WAR guy. Winker at -0.1 WAR. Good D metrics for Julio and JK.

Ty France with the negative defensive WAR... I just don't trust defensive stats.

That play by Julio yesterday in the Right center where he almost threw the runner out at second was actual pretty incredible.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

When was the last time a Mariner pitcher gave up just 1 earned run over 3 starts?

I'd say its looking like we have 2 aces at this point.

That's the positional adj. for 1B. You are right that its too early to look at D stats though.

Almost all 1Bs are negative.

All the "experts" said he was a MOR guy. I always saw Ace potential.
