It's pretty hilarious how much even the most diehard Ms fans doubt their own team.

This team is GOOD yo! Houston is playing like shit. Can't beat Texas and we just saw how bad Texas is. We're going to go on the road and take care of business
I’m not sure I’d characterize it as hilarious that’s Kelenic quality response

I like the team too but lets not get carried away. Yeah they're 10-6 but they haven't played a team yet that currently has a winning record.

If Gilbert hadn't vastly exceeded expectations so far this team could easily be 10-17. On the other hand, if Ray and Winker were performing like last year that would offset Gilbert being worse. I just don't think there was good reason to believe they would.

Crawford had also exceeded expectations, and France is playing probably a little bit better than most expected. Murphy also has been great. Then again, Frazier has been disappointing to offset that a bit.

Over the last 9 games (1-8) France and Murphy have definitely come down to earth from hot starts. Winker is raising his batting overage but his OBP is steady because he's getting fewer walks. Hopefully the extra base hits in the past 2 games are a sign of his power returning. Interestingly, we still have a positive run differential for the season. We've lost games with bad innings by Ray, Gilbert, and Brash. And not enough clutch hitting to make up for it.

Well, bad Murphy is still better than Cal Raleigh will ever be.

I remember voting for 11, but didn't want to post it lest I be called a "negative nellie."
