Contest: Guess Haniger's Next Injury

Rules: None really, just guess what his next injury will be, with as little or as much detail as you want

My entry: Neck-related injury, from something non-baseball related. I'm picturing him on an airplane and he turns to look out the window, causing a neck injury. Out 6-8 weeks.

I predict he will foul off a pitch into his neck which will crush his Adam's apple and will die on the field.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he hurts himself next by brushing his teeth.

That's right. He suds his pearly whites with Crest and baking soda. Bends down to rinse and hits the mirror in front of him with his forehead.
a small piece of mirror gets into his left eye cutting his pupil. Mitch is immediately rushed into surgery and his eye is amazingly saved but his vision is severley impaired in his left eye. He spends the remainder of the season trying to learn to hit from the left side but he's about as effective at it as Abe Toro. The Mariners reluctantly designate Mitch Haniger for assignment since he is now virtually untradeable and the long and painful experiment is finally over. For Mitch. For the Mariners. For the Fans.
