Doom-mongers and Despair Merchants GT in Last Chance Saloon Series with A’s

The road trip was a respectable 3-3 in NY and TOR and then came Boston. A couple of narrow defeats doesn’t mask the overall doom and gloom that is now hovering above this team’s original optimism and hope.
We are probably playing in the last chance saloon for saving the season with the next 12 games (3 vs As, 3 vs HOU, 3 @ BAL and 3 @ TEX) must be considered make-or-break.

10-2 in these next twelve games and we are back to .500
We are seriously f****d, aren’t we?

What a rolorcoaster weekend bro.
Here's the "confirmed" lineups:
We truly are "the Bad News Bears of the major leagues".

A few words of wisdom I learned from master DTrain this weekend....
"I'd rather lose in good company than win amongst bad company."
"I hang out with people of good character not characters."
By the way. We were watching the movie "The Departed" and there is a scene where they show a shot of Boston's "Southy" from accross the Bay and both DTrain and I looked at each and realized that was his freakin neighborhood today. Unbelievable.
Makes total sense too if you watch the movie and understand there is a police shooting range right there you can only walk to with a low tide.
Boston PD Matt Damon would've trained there. DiCaprio's character was with the "Staties".

Absolutely 1,000,000% agree. Met some amazing people this weekend including your dear self. Never been prouder to be a Mariner.
Also now slightly pissed in Vegas choosing which sportsbook to hand over my money to and cheer us on.

+1 it’s funny how Boston turned into Mariners-fan Mecca over the last week. If we wouldn’t have gotten swept, maybe that should have become a new tradition
So no Kyle Lewis today?

I saw that after all that in Tacoma he how has to see a Mariners position tomorrow to see if he's healthy enough to play in the big leagues. I guess that physician is unable to travel to Tacoma.
So we have an appointment for our trailer tomorrow and so we are spending the night in it in our storage facility in Foxboro

If Mariners can’t drive him today, he can borrow my Orca card and take the train

I am.
I've been a baseball/Mariners fan too long to get scared off.
Plus: it's finally an evening game that I can kick back and watch.
