Here is another option.

I'll bet Atlanta makes a strong bid for AB. I wouldn't mind bringing him to Seattle.

Just no sense of urgency. They have been DHing dogshit for months and continue to do so despite good options out there.

They only made minor moves, trading players to and from, or after clearing DFAs. They've cycled through players that were on a minor league contract. I'm expecting something slightly larger, if they do well in the next week.

Speaking of minor moves, here's Jerry's 6/25/22 "trade du jour":
Got this guy from the Reds (unknown what Cincinnati got).

Just checked in on Josh Bell. Up to .319/.909 and 3.1 bWAR but no brilliant Jerry wanted to rotate guys through DH. I swear if he gets traded the month for a weak prospect package I will LOSE it.

I would give anything for the M's to trade for Bryan Reynolds and Frankie Montas.

Winker, Reynolds, Julio OF would just be absolutely insane.

Sign Aaron Judge in the off season... good lord.

1. Bryan Reynolds DH/RF
2. Ty France 1B
3. Julio Rodriguez CF
4. Aaron Judge DH/RF
5. Jesse Winker DH/LF
6. Geno Suarez 3B
7. Dylan Moore 2B
8. Cal Raleigh C
9. JP Crawford SS

1. Logan Gilbert
2. Rob Ray
3. Frankie Montas
4. George Kirby
5. Marco Gonzales

Our payroll next season would still only be around $130-140 million if we signed Judge to a $30 million a year deal.

FFS go for it Jerry.

I think Judge will get close to $400M deal. I don't see this ownership group doing a Multi hundred million $ deal. They allocated $2M to upgrade the bullpen this off season and $1.5M on on the Santana trade for God's sake.

He asked for 9 years $36 million.

I think he'll get 8 for $33 million a year.

I still think the M's weren't on board with truly going for it this year. It was still about giving Julio his shot and hoping Kelenic would turn it around. I think 2023 will show some real money spent.
