5:40am and I am watching a position player pitching.  Morning everyone !!!
Not shocking that a non pitcher shuts down the Mariner offense on 7 pitches...will probably be the beginning g of 37 straight scoreless innings
I actually thought that was gonna happen when I hit submit

I like a DMo/Trammell platoon. Let's let Trammel get feeling comfortable in the bigs, then next off season work on hitting lefties.
As long as it's not Toro hitting for him, that's what I worry the alternative is though.
If Toro can get back to hitting like he was in Spring Training, all will be forgiven.
Was he getting hits as a righty in Spring Training? That's the problem, and other lefties have passed him at this point. Maybe hit him instead of Upton against Righties, but he sucks hitting against lefties.

Gotta love soft tossers who can throw strikes. Milone has done a great job. Back to back solid wins. Offense clicking against a very bad team it's gotta continue. Nice work

Good couple of wins.
Nice to get healthy vs. Oakland and their 4000 loyal fans.
Time to get out the brooms.

Kirby is the stuff. Right behind Logan. ANOTHER quality start.

Let's see if SS can leave the lineup alone.

Gilbert
Kirby
Ray
Hancock? (If he can stay healthy should be in the rotation)
Gonzales (how can you complain about him as a 5th starter)
Stoudt/Dollard/Miller/Macko (which are starters, which move to the pen, which are traded)

Now bullpen pieces Brash, Campbell (been a stud in the pen in Everett, time for him to move up) Carlson(will they keep him there, or stretch him out)

Like or hate Jerry, he's found and developed pitching through the draft. Hard to argue that.

And if Jerry Dipoto was the 2nd coming of Branch Rickey, we wouldn't be here to begin with. We would have had a back up plan for injuries or bad play.
Our back plans suck! I feel like we went from Plan A to we don't even have a back plan anymore.

Gotta give Cal a ton of credit he seems to be doing much better with the bat and how he handles this pitching staff. Wow he has been a solid guy to throw too and a big guy. Would love to see him if a player ever argues with one of our pitchers. I saw it in AAA this guy loves to stand up for his pitcher great job.

Who would have guessed Stefen Romero could be the next former Mariner with a World Series ring...

Kelenic 3-6 with a HR, double and just 1 K.

O'Keefe 2-5. I'm ready for him to come up to help DH, take away AB from Upton.
DFA Torrens and he can take over for him.
