trade deadline looming France, Lewis, and Haniger returning

Rotation
Ray is up to a 99 ERA+ and has figured it out for now.
Gilbert has a 140 ERA+ and has been a stud all year
Marco has a 114 ERA+ and that is a good thing
Kirby has a 100 ERA+ ( He got lit up for 7 and his ERA jumped by a run)

Flex has been steadily giving up 3 over 5 innings and has an 86 ERA+ to show for it.

I could see flipping Flexen out for Frankie M, or one of the other possibles.

Offense: Back from the injured list
1. 1B France OPS+ 153 (7/5) (R)
2. 2B Moore OPS+ (98) (R)
3. SS JP (7/4) 112 OPS+ (L)
4. 3B Saurez 123 OPS+ (R)
5. C Cal R 114 OPS+ (S)
6. CF Julio 133 OPS+ (R)
7. OF Taylor T 125 OPS+ (7/9) (L)
8. OF Winker 105 OPS+ (L)
9. DH Santana 92 OPS+ year but had a .942 OPS June keep it up (s)

Frazier utility 71 OPS+ (L)
Toro UT 59 OPS+ (S)
Lewis had a 177 OPS+ in 44 games before getting hit In the head 121 OPS+ career (7/10 ETA) (R)
Haniger had a 100 OPS+ before he went out and a 124 OPS+ career in a walk year (R) (7/15)
Luis T C 55 OPS+ (R) (7/7)

So Moore looks like the frontrunner for 2B right now. Frazier and Toro will be competing for occasional 2B/3B and maybe even OF.

Once France returns Santana goes to DH. Once Lewis and or Haniger return you would see occasional trips to the OF for all of them (Santana has 8 games in the outfield in his career). Maybe France could slide over to 2B and Santana plays 1st and gives the DH over to Lewis/Haniger.

Right now Winker/JRod/ Taylor look like our starting OF.

Adam Frazier has turned out to be Jarrod Dyson 2.0.

A guy other (smarter) teams realized was a part time player but Dipoto thought he could turn into an everyday player.

Dude's a moron.

bpj, he gave Frazier a chance. He's also killing it with Cal Raleigh who is proving to be a better hitter than the no.1 overall pick of his class C Adley Rutschman. What else? Lets see.... There's Logan Gilbert picked at 14 overall, best of his class. There's George Kirby at 20 overall. There's Taylor Dollard in the fucking 5th round. How about stealing Edwin Arroyo in the 2nd round? How about international signings of Julio Rodriguez, Noelvi Marte, Gabe Gonzalez, Lazaro Montes, Jonatan Clase, Michael Arroyo, Starlin Aguilar and the list goes on.

But no, he's a fucking moron b.c he traded for Frazier (giving up a package of nothing btw)

The Dipoto shit needs to stop. This organization is in a tremendous place, better spot than it has been in probably 40 years, all because of his work over the last 4. I mean his team is killing it in the international market. They are killing it in the draft.

"He gave Frazier a chance."

No, he anointed JP the SS heir and ignored several guys on the market who were clear upgrades in favor of handing Frazier the job at 2B because it was budget-friendly. And now even JP's defense is suspect.

They're 38-42 and he was completely unprepared for a season we should have been pushing for the playoffs again.

We should have made the playoffs in 2016 and again last season- Dipotos fault, both.

This is his SEVENTH season with the org. Cool stories about the minor leaguers though.

He has yet to bring a winning team to Seattle. He claimed we were ready to spend last off season......He failed. Maybe next year

It should be interesting. So when Lewis and France come back, it'll be Lewis, Santana, and sometimes Upton at DH. Then when Haniger or Trammell comes back, Santana or Upton gets DFAed or traded.

Wow, you read my mind. We are going to go from paper thin to about 30 guys real quick in the next few weeks.

Did you see Lewis is going to get a lot of time in the OF in Tacoma?

I saw that. They are going to have a bunch of outfielders. Maybe Upton gets traded, since Santana is a switch hitter and can bat lefty. When Lewis and Haniger come back, they're going to bring power, albeit from the RH side.

I wonder how they split DH/1B with Santana/France. Maybe let France DH until he is 100%
