Yes gotta think wc. Cheatstros won't budge. I have faith a fully healthy team and this pitching can win wc series.

That's because you've spent most of your life under cloud cover. Once I got out of Seattle the sun turned my face into one of Yogi Berra's old catchers mitts. And HA HA, Ice.

Yea I hate when they do that. Gotta shut up those jays fans. Another test for our pitching. Can they handle another powerful offense so far so goodseattlefan-daBronx wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 11:41 pmWell. We'll have our chances at home vs. one of those teams ahead of us in the WC....da Blue Birds.
Might not feel like a home game tho with so many Canadians coming down for the series.

Yep. If the Ms have the Astro's record in their remaining 79 games, and the Astros have the M's record in their remaining 83 games, they'd be tied. But I don't see the M's having a 52-27 record the rest of the way. Likewise I don't see the Astros playing below .500 the rest of the way.

We have a double digit winner before the break. Who would have thought with all our injuries.

Agree with both of you. I reckon the division is well out of reach.ice99 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 11:47 pmYep. It looks like the 3rd WildCard will need around 86 to 88 wins. That means we need to go 47-32. That's still some way off but let's take each game as it comes. You never know.
Re: Logan's heroes/What's eating Gilberts Grape v. Steve Clevenger's brother GT
finally another sweep.
Even if it was a mini 2 gamer it helped.
Gilbert and Munoz got pinched all day even the Astros commentators admitted it a few times.
Dilly got picked off but that is an aggressive thing vs not paying attention like we have seen from some guys.
4 in a row
7/8
12/15
41-42 so far
Next 3 series
Huge 4 gamer against the Blue Jays this should be a playoff-level series.
2 vs WA
4 vs Tex

Be happy with 2 of 4 from Jays anything else is gravy but we need to be 4 of 6 against Texas and NatsPharmabro wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 12:06 amfinally another sweep.

2 of 4 would be ok but you should expect to win the series vs. a team with comparable talent especially if France is back as expected.desbcoach wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 1:10 amBe happy with 2 of 4 from Jays anything else is gravy but we need to be 4 of 6 against Texas and NatsPharmabro wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 12:06 amfinally another sweep.
