The M's started the trading deadline like a lion and ended with a Lamb

Jarred Kelenic posted a wRC+ of 118 in 252 plate appearances at Triple A this year while Jake Lamb posted a wRC+ of 130 in 276 plate appearances:

https://www.fangraphs.com/players/jake- ... osition=3B

wRC+ reportedly takes into account league and park differences.
Like I said, similar numbers.
Lamb is clearly better. 128 to 130 I would call similar. Not 10% better.
If the sample size for both was closer to 600 PA's with the same gap I would be inclined to agree but as it stands I think they're pretty close, especially when you look at the actual counting stats. Lamb has 15 HR's to Jarred's 11, but Jarred has 21 doubles and 3 triples to Lamb's 12 doubles and 0 triples. But, given his major league track record, it's almost certain that Lamb is better at hitting offspeed and bendy stuff than Jarred.

They'll DFA someone for Lamb, unless someone like Giles goes on the 60 day IL. Toro probably optioned.

Better than Kelenic did in AAA.
Pretty similar actually and OKC is much more homer-friendly.

Lamb is 31, Jarred just turned 23

The Rainiers have a strange schedule. They play in Sacramento in a day game tomorrow, but an evening game Thursday. This means that Haniger could fly back on Wed evening and play in Everett on Thursday (M's are off on Thursday).

When do they have to report the trades by? Did Casila walk from Sacramento's dugout to the Rainer's.

Yep, when JK is 31 and still in AAA when can do an Apples to Apples comparison.
